Year 11 and 12 Coordinator’s Message

Dear Parents and Students,

This term has so far been a very busy and productive one for our students, with a variety of events and challenges.

Recently, we celebrated the holy month of Ramadan which saw our students fasting, engaging in self-reflection and exploring themes such as charity and empathy for others. During this time, our years 11 and 12 students attended numerous incursions and an interschool sporting activity in which they proudly represented our school.

As our cold and wet winter continues, it is important to remind students to keep warm by wearing their full school winter uniform. This means that for term two and three, the school blazer is compulsory and must be warn to and from school each day. Year 12 students may wear their year 12 jackets in place of the blazer. On particularly cold days, students may choose to keep warm by wearing the school jumper under their blazer as an additional layer and we have school beanies and scarves available for purchase also. Please remember, no non-uniform items will be permitted at school, this includes accessories such as bags, scarves, beanies and runners.

I trust that our VCE students will continue to excel in their studies throughout the remainder of the term.

Kind Regards,
Mr. Michael Kapadia
Year 11 and 12 Coordinator
